Friday scent of the day 9/17 :: Now Smell This

Happy Friday and happy International Country Music Day (which falls on Hank Williams’ birthday, course). Our community project for today: name a favorite country music song and wear a fragrance to match.

What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.

My song is the Jimmy Webb classic Wichita Lineman, written in 1968 for Glen Campbell. I’ve matched it with (vintage) Sonoma Scent Studio Incense Pure.

Reminder: 9/24 is the birth date of Jim Henson and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Wear whatever fits for whatever reason — scent a muppet or a Fitzgerald character, maybe?

And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2021, where I’ll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Below, Glen Campbell doing Wichita Lineman. (Also, James Taylor, Freedy Johnston, REM, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Black Pumas)
